Having spent most of our adult lives in Asia my wife and I looked forward to purchasing our retirement home in the U.S.A. We returned briefly for a visit in August 2011. It was at that time that we met Dave Stone and requested his help in finding a home with a small acreage. At that time he helped us through the process of making a bid on a property being auctioned by his agency. Failing to win the bid Dave offered to help us find a home even though we would be returning to Asia. He said that we could search for a property on the internet and he could "make it happen" by showing the place to our son, emailing videos and handling the paperwork in order for us to have a place to live in when we retired in a year or two. He did just what he said he would do. We found just the property for which we were looking. He emailed forms which we signed and are turned. Unfortunately, our offer was rejected. Dave did not give up. We sent him more places to research for us, all the while keeping our eyes on the property which we desired. There were some very nice properties but we still hoped that, just maybe, the price of our special property would be reduced to where we could afford it. About the time we retired and returned to the States, Dave found out that the property that we desired was going to be sold on a "short sale". Dave shared with us the pros and cons of buying on a short sale and told us it could take six months or more. We told him that if he was willing to go through all the work and wait time, we were willing to give it a try. Since April 2013 We have been living in a very comfortable home in a beautiful place. Thanks to Dave Stone. Dave has a desire to find out what you are looking for and help you do it. He will help you weigh the pros and the cons. He is honest and will help you through the things you may not know understand purchasing a home. We found him to be very patient and a joy to work with. Our experience with Dave involved, home auction, regular purchase and short sale. We found him to be competent in each of these areas. For us, he went above and beyond that which we expected him to do. We highly recommend both his character and services.

David Stone was very professional in dealing with the sale of my home during the summer of 2013, and was extremely knowledgable about the area market. It was reassuring to know that I had such a great real estate agent on my side during the sales process. Not only did Dave do a fantastic job in listing my home, but he was fantastic on the back end with finding a new property for my wife and I to look at. I would recommend anyone who needs to sale their home to contact David Stone, as he is one of the best in the real estate business in Northwest Montana. Dave worked very hard to find us what we were looking for. He was very flexible with his time and showed us all the listings we were interested in whenever it was best for us. He is very knowledgeable. We feel that he was working in our best interest. He respected our budget and offered his knowledge and advice throughout the shopping and buying process. Would definitely recommend him!

Dave Stone of Kalispell, Montana showed us an ideal property on Flathead Lake. The property was listed in January and we were in our Winter home in Arizona. We were familiar with the location as Dave had shown us a number of listings in the area of Lakeside. Dave sent us photos, description, survey and a film showing the land, views and pointing out several problems with the egress and right of way. We decided to make an offer. Unfortunately, there were multiple offers and we did not purchase the land. However, thanks to Dave, we were in our comfort zone on the offer we made. Dave Stone is the man for real estate buying and selling in the Flathead! He knows all the angles and connections. He is honest and careful and gives all parties his complete respect and attention. He is scrupulous about covering every detail and you trust him completely. He doesn't play any games or try to pull anything over on either party. Dave has been very helpful in our search for property. Specifially, he gives timely responses to our emails. He has shown flexibility in scheduling time to view properties and clearly indicates choices of dates and times he is available. Dave sought answers to a long list of questions we had about a particular property. Because we do not currently live in the area, he provides suggestions when to plan our visits (e.g. Inclement weather, etc.) so we can make the most use of our time. We would highly recommend Dave to anyone looking to sell or purchase property.

Dave helped immensely in buying a property directly from a bank, negotiating a lower price than I would have thought possible, and working very well with the banker. Had done research and knew what price we could get. Knew how to get down to the best price and close it. He is ethical, honest and true to his word. He makes himself available and does not forget you.

Dave was instrumental in helping us to find our new office space. I was extremely pleased at how closely he listened to us, and helped us think "outside of the box" to find the perfect property. He exhibited a true interest in the success of our business, and throughout the process found him to be more and more interested and invested in our business, our staff, and our customers. I now consider him a friend, and have developed a unmatched trust in him. Being first-time home buyers, we had no idea how to even begin. Meeting Dave Stone was a blessing. Dave made looking for and buying a home a pleasure. Dave's knowledge in his field made everything very comfortable. We were not even sure what we wanted or where. Dave helped explain the entire process. From our first contact til the present, Dave was and still is always available to answer our questions.
