We were moving from another state to Montana and we were trying to buy a house in Columbia Falls that was a short sale. We can not say enough good things about Matthew Hohnberger! He began trying to sell our log home in Kalispell after another agency had it for six months. Within a week, the family who bought it had some of their family fly in to see it and that was IT! We had moved already but were able to talk with Matthew frequently. All our business was mostly done on the phone and internet! Honestly, Matthew really knows his business! We are so very thrilled we asked for his help! He even had another buyer ready to make an offer had we not closed when we did! All the paperwork was "signed & sealed" within about six weeks! We also recommended Matthew to our dear friends/neighbors in that area...he sold their home in short order as well; he may have helped them locate the new place they just closed on in Whitefish!

2016: Once again Wendy changed our life. We loved our condo but after a few years we are definitely ready to move on. I contacted Wendy to work with us again and she didn't disappoint! The market conditions did not favor us much, on either the selling or buying end, but Wendy was extremely patient and never pressured us. I've been bugging her with my inability to make quick decisions and she's helped us figure things out without pushing us to decide either way, just some helpful guidance to get us through and consider all the variables. I hear about realtors pushing their clients in to more expensive homes to increase their commission and Wendy never does this. With the sale of our condo a little less than I had hoped for due to the market changes, she ensured that we stayed within a reasonable budget, even lower than we initially thought we could handle, and it was an experience for sure. Wendy endured for 4 long months with us on this emotional roller coaster, and next time we are ready to do this (not anytime soon...whew!), I'll be asking her to put up with us once more! 2012: Wendy was awesome! We got house fever and the house we were looking at went off the market so I was curious and contacted the realtor, Wendy. Although we couldn't get the house we liked, Wendy was so helpful that it motivated us to go ahead and look into buying a house. She referred us to a lender who was very helpful too! A month later, we found the condo we wanted and Wendy explained everything thoroughly. This was our first home purchase, and it was a short sale, we had no clue what we were doing but Wendy guided us through the whole process. It took 4 months for the short sale to be approved and another 6 weeks to close and move in. Wendy put up with me bombarding her with endless questions! She was friendly, easy going and made our first home experience as smooth as can be!

Wendy is definitely one of the best agents in the area and I highly suggest you work with her if possible. She helped me thru the entire purchasing process and met me to view several homes before finding the right one for me. She is responsive, trustworthy and has good knowledge of the area and market. Matthew recently sold a piece of undeveloped property. There were some complications with the sale and the potential buyers had quite a few questions for which they needed answers. We worked together to be sure the buyers perfectly understood the zoning restrictions on the property. Matthew was truthful and helped the buyers to clearly understand what restrictions existed. I was impressed with his honesty. He works very hard to help both the buyer and seller have all the facts. Matthew will not bend the truth nor embellish facts. He is a a unique and exceptional realtor.

In May 2013 we wanted to list our office complex with Matthew. Before we even got the listing signed he had a buyer for our property above the market value. It only took Matthew two weeks to put the whole deal together. We were impressed!!! Then we listed our home with him and not only did he find a great buyer but negotiated a great price in a down market. To say the least he is not only professional, timely, knowledgeable but knows how to accomplish the task in a tough market. Both my wife and I would say he's probably the best realtor in the entire state of Montana. Just give him a try and let him prove it.
