Originally from Sturgeon Bay, a small town in Door County, Wisconsin, Kat shares a familiar connection to Whitefish, both communities rooted in close-knit living and surrounded by natural beauty. Her love for the outdoors, sports, and an active lifestyle ultimately drew her to the mountains of Northwest Montana.
Kat’s background in photography opened the door to new ways of experiencing Montana at its fullest. From real estate to weddings, she has captured sweeping landscapes and meaningful moments, meeting people along the way and documenting life across the region. Her signature style, vibrant and full of color, reflects her personality and brings a dynamic energy to her work that resonates with viewers.
Her passion for people extends beyond photography and athletics into her service with Search and Rescue. Volunteering allows her to combine her endurance, skill,
and dedication to help locate those in need and support rescue efforts in challenging terrain. Whether skiing, running, or navigating Montana’s backcountry, she brings both commitment and compassion to every mission.
Kat’s story is just the beginning of a much larger journey, one defined by a deep love for the mountains, a commitment to community, and a life lived with intention and energy.
