PUREWEST DONATES OVER 1,000 LBS OF FOOD FOR LOCAL SCHOOLCHILDREN

Food insecurity remains a critical issue for many families, particularly those with school-aged children. During times like spring break, when students typically rely on school meals, the need for food assistance becomes even more urgent. To help meet this need, PureWest Christie's International Real Estate hosts annual food drives in Billings and Red Lodge, partnering with local organizations and school districts to collect donations that directly benefit children in need.

In Red Lodge, PureWest teamed up with the Harvest Hope Food Pantry and Red Lodge School District to collect food and monetary donations for local youth. The goal was to ensure that students had enough food to sustain them over Spring Break, when school-provided meals are unavailable. The Red Lodge community responded with tremendous generosity, donating over 420 lbs of food and contributing $1,500 in monetary donations. These donations were collected between March 3-26 at the PureWest office in Red Lodge, located at 21 Broadway Avenue North. The outpouring of support from residents, businesses, and staff made a meaningful impact on families facing food insecurity, providing much-needed relief during a critical time.

In Billings, the Education Foundation for Billings Public Schools was the recipient of this year’s food drive. PureWest’s Billings office served as the collection point for donations, which were intended to provide school-aged youth with food throughout the month of April. The Billings community exceeded expectations by donating over 700 lbs of food—nearly three times more than the 292 lbs collected last year. Donations were accepted from March 3-31 at the PureWest Billings office located at 525 Henry Chapple Street, Suite 1. The generosity of the Billings community ensured that local youth had access to essential meals, demonstrating once again how a united community can make a difference.

This year’s food drives in both Red Lodge and Billings were a tremendous success, thanks to the collective efforts of our communities. The overwhelming generosity displayed by local residents not only highlights the importance of supporting one another but also demonstrates how a few simple actions can have a lasting impact. PureWest is incredibly proud to be part of these efforts and looks forward to continuing our partnership with local organizations to address food insecurity in the future. Together, we are helping ensure that no child has to go hungry.
