At PureWest Real Estate, we’re proud to be part of a Montana tradition that’s all about fierce loyalty, community support, and giving back—welcome to the 25th Annual Brawl of the Wild and the Can the Cat-Griz Food Drive! Every year, this beloved rivalry brings out the best of Montana spirit as we rally to support local food banks in a friendly (but fiercely competitive!) food drive competition between Montana State University and the University of Montana.
With offices throughout the state, PureWest is all-in on this initiative. Our Missoula office is steadfast in supporting the Can the Cats drive, while our Bozeman office is firmly rallying behind Can the Griz. This cross-state rivalry is much more than a game; it’s a chance for us to come together as Montanans and help neighbors in need.
In 2023, this food drive made a record-breaking impact, raising nearly 1.5 million pounds of food for those in need across Montana. At PureWest, we were honored to participate in this remarkable effort, contributing $5,661 to local food banks through our Missoula and Bozeman offices last year alone.
As we kick off this year’s Can the Cat-Griz drive, we’re aiming to outdo ourselves yet again. With donations open now through November 23rd, we’re ready to rally with all of you to make an even bigger impact this year. Every can of food, every dollar donated, and every pound raised goes straight to supporting Montanans facing food insecurity.
