PUREWEST AGENTS ATTEND CHRISTIE'S ANNUAL SUMMIT

PUREWEST AGENTS ATTEND CHRISTIE'S ANNUAL SUMMIT

The 2024 Christie’s Masters Circle & Agents Summit on June 25 and 26 brought members of the world’s top luxury real estate network to Beverly Hills to network and hear presentations from leading experts across a range of topics.

Six PureWest agents attended the two-day gathering and received their 2024 Christie’s Luxury Specialist designations, recognizing their expertise in high-end client service.

Masters Circle Conference

Agent Conference

The conference included conversations with Christie’s International Real Estate co-CEO Thad Wong and Southern California affiliate CEO Aaron Kirman about the state of the industry, including the upcoming changes to commission rules, as well as predictions for where the industry is headed over the next year.

“I predict 2025 will be a robust year, with an extreme flight to quality in terms of the agents that buyers and sellers choose to work with,” Wong said. “Consumers are going to ask more questions, and there will be stiffer competition for their business. Now is the time to understand how to answer those questions and differentiate yourself.”

Additional presentations focused on the importance of direct, concise communication with clients, how to boost engagement across social media platforms, and the ability to articulate value with influence.

Here are a few of the top takeaways from the Summit:

  1. Whenever there are challenges, there are opportunities to grow. Now is the time to understand how to answer consumers’ questions regarding the looming commission rule changes and differentiate yourself. ~ Thad Wong and Aaron Kirman on the State of the Industry.
  2. We all have tremendous creative capacity. Sometimes, the most reasonable thing you can do is to chase the craziest idea you have. ~ Author Kyle Schleele on Thinking Inside the Box.
  3. National headlines often do not apply to what is happening in your local market, but the sentiment and impact will. Keep local data in context when speaking with clients. ~ Ali Wolf on the Market and the Economy
  4. Have a sense of genuine curiosity to find common themes with your clients. And remember that time is money. You have a very small amount of time to make that connection. ~ Christie’s VP Brian Evans on the Art of Storytelling.
  5. Ultra-personalization is key. Focus on creating something that is personalized, meaningful, and memorable, and highlight yourself as the expert. ~ Quintessentially CEO Lauren Wilt on Marketing to Affluent Women.

Congratulations to the agents who represented PureWest at the Summit and received their 2024 Christie’s Luxury Specialist designations!
