PureWest Real Estate agents attended the annual invitation-only Luxury Specialist Conference held by Christie’s International Real Estate. This year’s event was held virtually on November 17 and 18, welcoming over 700 brokers from 24 countries, including 26 U.S. states to make this the largest number of participants in the history of the forum. At the conclusion of the conference, attendees were designated as a “Christie’s International Real Estate Luxury Specialist” by Christie’s Education.
Dan Conn, CEO of Christie’s International Real Estate, said: “Our agents are experts in their local markets, the reason their companies were invited to join our exclusive network. This conference, offering continuing education in the luxury sector, allows them to build on their local reputations with an appreciation for the full scope of the interests of high-end clients: art collectibles, home design, wellness, and philanthropy. The global flow of real estate transactions is unprecedented in the current climate, as people continue to work remotely. Understanding the worldwide economy, best practices for digital marketing, and leveraging the Christie’s International Real Estate suite of services will grow their businesses and deepen relationships with buyers and sellers.”

PureWest Real Estate is proud to announce we had 23 individuals attend this year’s conference. The two-day conference offered insight to participants on a variety of topics pertaining to the culture and business of luxury living and selling. The current state of the world has changed the way the real estate community is able to interact with their clients and manage their businesses. Speakers such as Elliot Eisenberg, Michael S. Smith, Antoine Hodge, Christie’s Real Estate Executives, and other industry-leading peers presented new strategies on how to overcome some of the current obstacles facing the industry. Technology has become a large part of transactions and public relations, understanding how to virtually connect with clients and digitally buy and sell homes while managing a business in a volatile environment are key components to future success.

Rounding out the conference presenters focused on more personal and community attributes of the industry. Experts from different facets of luxury design and apparel conveyed the importance of professional wardrobes, the current art market, and strategies for collecting art and luxury goods including jewelry, wine, and handbags. Mindful Junkie Outreach and Studio in a School promoted strategies to eliminate stress from one’s daily and business life and the importance of supporting the community, specifically children, through these unprecedented times.
Congratulations, Luxury Specialists!
