A lifelong Missoulian with nearly two decades of real estate experience, Mike brings extensive knowledge of brokerage leadership, risk management, industry policy, and community development. He currently chairs the Montana Association of REALTORS® Forms Committee, which develops and updates the statewide contracts and forms used by REALTOR® members throughout Montana. He has also served as Montana's representative on the National Association of REALTORS® MLS Issues and Policies Committee and the NAR Risk Management Committee. Mike was the founding president of the Montana Regional MLS and is a past president of the Missoula Organization of REALTORS®.
Mike represents Ward 4 on the Missoula City Council, where he serves as Council President and chairs the Land Use and Planning Committee. He holds a bachelor's degree in political science and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Montana. Housing affordability, private property rights, and ensuring future generations can afford to live in Missoula have been defining priorities throughout his public service. He has also advocated before the Montana Legislature for housing policies that benefit communities statewide.
Mike's commitment extends throughout the Missoula community. He serves on the boards of the Missoula Family YMCA and Missoula Economic Partnership, is Vice President of the Missoula Fairgrounds Foundation, and serves as Board President and Commissioner of Missoula Youth Football. He also coaches youth baseball with the Missoula Dirt Squirrels and has held leadership positions with several community organizations, including the United Way of Missoula County.
Mike and his wife, Staci, co-own the family business Paradise Falls with her father. They are raising their children, James and Hannah, in Missoula, where Mike enjoys coaching youth sports, supporting his children's activities, and exploring Montana and beyond with his family. He also co-hosts the Griz Fan Podcast and enjoys winding down with Staci and their two golden retrievers, Bruce and Ted—better known as the "Seven Legs of Fury."
Before joining PureWest, Mike most recently served as Vice President of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Montana Properties, providing statewide supervisory support to agents and overseeing risk management across the company's offices.
