Glacier Park Named Once-In-A-Lifetime Place to Camp

Every Montana enthusiast agrees that one of the greatest ways to enjoy Montana is to immerse yourself in its beauty.  How does one do that exactly? Spend the night in the outdoors and camp!  Summer is on the horizon and there is no better time than now to dig out your tent, dust off your hiking boots, and get out there into the wild.

Travel and Leisure Magazine listed twelve of the World’s Once-In-A-Lifetime Camping Sites that are perfect for outdoor exploration.  Glacier National Park is named amongst this esteemed list of gorgeous camping destinations that include Hawaii, Japan and Iceland.

Glacier National Park is over a million acres in size and boasts 25 glorious glaciers, 762 mirrored lakes, over 200 (named) waterfalls, and hundreds of streams.  There are over 745 miles of distinctly maintained hiking trails to explore.  Not the most experienced camper?  Check out the Kintla Lake Campground and pitch a tent on the water’s edge.
