PureWest Lakeside Agents Help Community Fair Celebrate 30 Years

Every summer for the past 30 years, the Lakeside Community Club has hosted a July fair for members of the local community to come out, enjoy the sunshine, and support each other. There’s a pancake breakfast, silent auction, parade, food concessions, and more many fun activities for the whole family. The best part? All proceeds are set aside for charitable purposes.

Earlier this month, the community hosted its 2019 fair, themed “30 Years of Caring and Sharing.” For the past 15 years, Lakeside agents, led by PureWest owner and long-time Lakeside resident and civic leader Ellie Stimpson, have exemplified this theme by cooking and serving the food at a booth and helping out in numerous other ways. For several years, David Fetveit, owner and managing broker of the Lakeside office, hosted the watermelon-eating contest (free to all kids), and duck races, two of the fair’s most popular events.

This involvement underscores a long-term commitment to community shared by PureWest agents across Montana. The Lakeside agents donated to the 4th of July fireworks show, and they’re sponsors of two upcoming events, the Flathead Lake 5K, and the Blacktail Hill Climb Bike Race. They also contribute to the Lakeside Quick Response Unit, the West Shore Community Library, the Lakeside~Somers Chamber of Commerce, the Somers Company Town Project, and much more!

PureWest Lakeside agents are deeply involved in their community, helping to make it a warm and inviting place. If you’re interested in property here, contact the local office, or browse Lakeside Montana real estate.
