PureWest Missoula, Bozeman Offices Participate in Spirited Food Drive

It’s the heart of college football season, which means PureWest Missoula and Bozeman offices are facing off once again for a friendly competition during the Can the Griz/Can the Cats Food Drive. PureWest agents in the Bozeman office will defend their 2018 win!

Now in its 20th season, this annual food drive challenges residents in rival college towns to collect the most donated non-perishable food items during the two weeks leading up to the Montana State University Cats vs. University of Montana Griz “Brawl of the Wild” football game. This year, the game is on November 23 at Bobcat Stadium in Bozeman. While only one winner will emerge on the field, both communities win during the food drive!

Last year, the Bozeman community donated a record 263,263 pounds of food and $185,457 to the Gallatin Valley Food Bank. The Missoula community donated 210,714 pounds of food and $193,086 to the Missoula Food Bank & Community Center. Altogether, that’s approx. $378,500 and almost 474,000 pounds of donated food.

With offices in both Missoula and Bozeman, PureWest agents love to strike up our own mini-competition! And this year, the Bozeman office is additionally competing against other real estate offices in town.

Thank you for any donations you are able to contribute! To donate, visit:

PureWest Bozeman office: 1612 W Main Street
PureWest Missoula office: 101 Railroad Street W.

And if you can’t make it to our offices in time, you can donate items at Bobcat stadium all the way up until the end of the first quarter of the game!
